Royals runners-up in West Jessamine Invitational

The Mason County Royals finished in second place in the West Jessamine Invitational at Connemara Golf Course in Nicholasville on Saturday.

The Royals had a team of score of 305. The Ryle Raiders won the tournament by shooting a 299.

Grant Owens led the Royals with a 74. Kaden Grooms shot a 75. Logan Shepherd followed with a 76. Jake Feldhaus carded an 80 and Mason Butler shot an 85. The top four scores are used for the team score.

Mason County sophomore Quin Grooms, playing as an individual, fired a 1-under 71 and finished in fourth place.
