Lady Saints' and Royals' games will be late if played at all

The start times for the St. Patrick Lady Saints' game in the 10th Region softball tournament and the Mason County Royals' game in the 10th Region tournament are going to be much later than originally scheduled if they are played at all today. There is a rain delay in the first game of the 10th Region softball tournament at Montgomery County. St. Patrick and Harrison County were scheduled to play the third game at 3:30. The 10th Region baseball tournament at Scott High is way behind schedule, not because of the weather, but because of a marathon opening game. Campbell County edged Clark County 6-5 in 13th innings. That game started at 10:30 a.m and didn't end until 2:21 p.m. The second game between Harrison County and Bracken County was originally set for 12:45. The third game pitting Scott vs. Bourbon County was scheduled at 3:15, and the Mason County Royals were scheduled to play Nicholas County at 5:30. I will keep you posted.
