Twas the Night Before the Sweet 16

I'm really looking forward to the National City/KHSAA Boys' Sweet 16 which starts tomorrow at Rupp Arena. There's a lot to look forward to beginning with the opening game - University Heights Academy vs. Lexington Catholic - at noon. UHA is the All "A" Classic champion. Lexington Catholic is the tournament favorite. The top two teams - Lexington Catholic and Mason County - are in opposite brackets. If the Knights and Royals take care of business in the first three rounds, they will meet in the championship game Saturday night. The two leading candidates for Mr. Basketball - Darius Miller of Mason County and Scotty Hopson of UHA - can showcase their talents on the state's biggest stage.
