University of Cincinnati sophomore quarterback Dustin Grutza has been named Big East Offensive Player of the Week. Grutza completed 13 of 18 passes for 205 yards and a touchdown to lead the Bearcats to a 17-3 win over Syracuse Saturday. For the season, Grutza has completed 61.6 percent of his passes for 1,423 yards and eight touchdowns.
This is Grutza's second Offensive Player of the Week award of his career.
