The Mason County Royals football team begins district play tonight at Boyd County.
The Royals, 4-1, are coming off an open week. Boyd County lost its district opener to Johnson Central 63-12 last week. It was 20-12 in the third quarter. Boyd County is 2-4 overall. Mason County leads the series 3-2. The Royals beat the Lions 40-28 last season. Kickoff is at 7:30. The pre-game show begins at 7 p.m. on WFTM-FM and soft96.com
