Draft football alignment released by KHSAA

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association Wednesday released the draft football alignment for the 2019-20--2022-23 school years.

Under the draft alignment, Mason County would move from Class 4A to Class 3A and would play in District 6 with Fleming County, Lewis County, Pendleton County and West Carter.

The draft alignment has Bracken County remaining in Class A. An earlier proposal had Bracken County moving up to Class 2A.

This is only a draft and is subject to change. The KHSAA Board of Control is scheduled to approve the final alignment in May after receiving feedback from member schools.
