Three-pointers key in the Holmes Lady Bulldogs' win over the Lady Royals

The Holmes Lady Bulldogs hit 13 three-pointers in a 71-60 victory over the Mason County Lady Royals last night in Covington.

The Lady Bulldogs made 10-of-15 shots (66.7%) from the behind the arc in the first half and led 42-28 at intermission. 

Holmes' biggest lead was 18 points at 54-36 in the third quarter.

Mason County senior point guard AJ Reed led all scorers with a career-high 22 points. 

Kara Moran added 10 points.

Mason County was 9-of-14 (64.3%) on three-pointers.

The Lady Royals host Ryle Saturday afternoon.
