Ty Fox named West Team Offensive MVP in Northeastern Kentucky Senior Bowl

Ty Fox of Mason County was named West Team Offensive Most Valuable Player in the Northeastern Kentucky Senior Bowl at Morehead State University's Jayne Stadium Friday night.

The East Team outscored the West Team 14-6 in the second half for a  20-12 victory.

Tristan Bishop of Bracken County threw a 72-yard touchdown pass to Fox.

Nicholas Rice of Bracken County was the West Team scholarship recipient.

Other award winners include:

Logan Kellione of Harrison County, West Team Defensive Most Valuable Player

Nick Conley of Russell, East Team Offensive Most Valuable Player

Garet McCloud of Johnson Central, East Team Defensive Most Valuable Player

Austin Bays of Raceland, East Team scholarship recipient.

Former Fleming County, Manchester, Rowan County and Kentucky Christian University coach Gene Peterson was inducted into the Northeastern Kentucky Senior Bowl Hall of Fame at halftime.

Peterson will begin his first year as the running backs coach at Morehead State University in the 2017 season.
