Male uses 10-0 run to beat Mason County 79-72

The Male Bulldogs used in a 10-0 run late in the game to beat the Mason County Royals 79-72 tonight at the Fieldhouse.

Male led by 13 in the second quarter.

Mason County rallied to lead 55-50 in the third quarter and was up 70-67 with 2:30 to play.

Hunter McCutcheon hit back-to-back three-pointers to give the Bulldogs the lead for good.

Male was up 77-70 before Mason County scored its final basket with only six seconds left.

There were nine ties and 11 lead changes in the game.

Isaiah Garrison scored a game-high 25 points for Mason County.

Leevi Dunaway followed with 23 points including 11 in the second quarter.

Male center Hogan Brownley had a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds. He scored 20 points in the first half.

McCutcheon hit three of his four three-pointers in the fourth quarter and finished with 15 points.

Mason County hosts Madison Central Thursday at 6 p.m. in the US Bank Mike Murphy Classic.
