Royals top Saints 83-46 at St. Patrick

The Mason County Royals led 57-17 at halftime on the way to an 83-46 season-opening victory over the St. Patrick Saints tonight at St. Patrick.

It was the first time the Saints had hosted the Royals at the St. Patrick Gym since 1961.

Mason County shot 57.5% from the field in the first half and scored 17 points off St. Patrick's 18 first half turnovers.

Isaiah Garrison led the Royals with 19 points, nine rebounds and four steals. Leevi Dunaway scored 16 points and Jaylen Lofton added 14 points,

Ben Swolsky led St. Patrick with 18 points and eight rebounds.

Mason County will play its home opener Friday night against Simon Kenton.

The Saints will host Piarist School Friday night in the St. Patrick Catholic Classic.
