Chris Lofton made 17 three-pointers and scored a career-high 61 points to lead Mersin BSB. to a 116-70 win over CASA TED Kolejliler today in the Turkish Basketball League. Lofton was 17-of-22 on three-point shots, 4-of-6 on two-point shots and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. He had three rebounds and four assists. Today's 61-point performance increased Lofton's scoring average by almost two points to 20.08 points per game- third best in the league. He has scored 502 points this season. Mersin BSB. has two games left in the regular season. Lofton's previous career-high as a professional was 47 points against Fenerbahce Ulker on Feb. 8.
