The Mason County girls and boys teams won a rain-shortened track meet at Fleming County Tuesday. The girls, using a mixture of middle school and high school athletes, dominated with a 40 point victory. The Lady Royals were led by De' Sarae Chambers who won the 100 meter dash, long jump and triple jump. The Royals, led by Brent Sparks who won the 100 meter dash and anchored both the 4x100 and 4x200 meter relay teams, won by three points.
Mason County will be back in action Friday night in the Richmond Model Invitational at Eastern Kentucky University.
