The Mason County girls track and field team finished second and the Mason County boys tied for sixth place in the fourth annual Ernie Chattin Memorial Track and Field Meet at Ashland Saturday.
Mason County junior De'Sarae Chambers won the outstanding performance award with a long jump of 16 feet. Brent Sparks, Daniel Reed, Chase Crawford and Tyreese Scott of Mason County won the boys 4x100 meter relay. Mason County is scheduled to compete in two meets next week- the Harrison County Invitational Thursday and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Invitational at Cumberland College Saturday.
